The Broome Park Golf Club is home to a long, 18-hole golf course, which stretches for around 6,700 yards. Set within the spacious parklands surrounding the grand 17th-century Mansion House at the Broome Park Estate, the course features an undulating terrain, magnificent views of nearby valleys, and a halfway house serving hot refreshments. The estate is particularly historic and believed to date back to the time of Charles I, covering more than 250 acres / 100 hectares.

The Canterbury Golf Club stands just 1.5 km / 1 mile from the city centre and can be reached by travelling along the A257 Sandwich road. With 18 holes, relatively tight fairways, a yardage of almost 6,300 and an appealing woodland setting, the course features a number of tricky and often challenging holes and suits most golfing abilities. Green fees here are moderately priced and the facilities are excellent, including a clubhouse complete with bar serving a range of snacks and evening meals.
